Do you know how as you get older, your writing progresses, and you get better? We don't expect a ninth grader to write The Lord of the Rings, but if that ninth grader decides to be a writer, we expect them to write something good at some point, or fail in their chosen profession.
I feel like government is where the bad writers might be going. I mean legislation seems to get stupider the older the participants get. Mock government, had its crazies, but was way more civil and the bills were way more concise.
