How much would this screw up the folks of CSI? I mean, they had enough trouble with chimera-guy...granted, I know mitochondrial DNA isn't used as frequently as nuclear DNA for identification, but it still does get used sometimes.
Eleanor McEvoy has a number of lovely songs. Whisper a Prayer to the Moon is beautiful. Great lyric: If I had the powers/I'd give you the stars/the sun and the light/of the moon.
Dark Sun:The Making of the Hydrogen Bomb, by Richard Rhodes. discusses the nuclear arms race. Pretty freaking insane.
