Begone, foul Brooks!

UPDATE: It seems that this post might have been a little too elliptical. The Brooks to whom I refer is David Brooks, the Times columnist who spews a great deal about the dichotomoy between "red" states and "blue" states, concentrating a great deal on the relative wealth of the different regions.
